My Purpose
I live in California. For all of the things I like about it, the housing, rent, and even dorm prices are, frankly, pretty insane. Did you know that the average cost for a triple room at UC Berkeley is around $13,000? I know, crazy right? At the University of Arizona it’s only $9,000. So, when my High School required me to make a passion project to help a community, I figured that this was something that I could do. I know a lot of people who have got accepted into amazing schools, only to turn around and worry about how they will afford to live there. I want to help work to lessen the cost of smart people going to smart schools, since we aren’t all made of money.
